Harmonic transmission is the transfer of mechanical motion using a controlled, elastic deformation. The harmonic drive usually consists of three basic components, including a rigid wheel with internal teeth, a flexible wheel that produces radial elastic deformation and has external teeth during operation, and an elliptical shape inside the flexible wheel. A wave generator with a flexible rolling bearing. The number of external teeth of the flex wheel is less than the number of internal teeth of the rigid wheel.
