How to Reduce Internal Pressure of Right Angle Planetary Reducer

The temperature and pressure changes in the inner cavity of the right-angle planetary reducer directly affect its output during high-speed operation, and long-term rotation will also affect its lifespan. Both the input and output ends of the IP65 planetary reducer are sealed bearings and sealing rings, which will also affect the temperature and pressure changes in the inner cavity of the reducer.

 

Temperature and pressure limit the input speed, the maximum rotation efficiency of the planetary reducer is 98%, and 2% of the input energy is consumed by heat. This loss is mainly due to the friction between the sealed coil and the bearing, which increases the temperature of the inner cavity of the planetary reducer. The temperature of the inner cavity of the reducer directly limits the output torque and output speed.

 

There are two points to reduce the internal pressure of the right-angle planetary reducer:

1. Reduce the grease in the inner cavity of the planetary reducer. During long-term high-speed operation, grease may cause excessive oil temperature. However, users should be noted that after reducing the grease, the planetary reducer may be lack of grease after running for some time, which will reduce the load-bearing capacity.

 

2. A gas valve can be installed to transport high-pressure gas from the reducer to outside. But it should be ensured that the reducer is safe without oil leakage, and the waterproof, dustproof and moisture-proof functions of IP65 are not damaged.

 

The above are the methods to reduce the internal pressure of the right-angle planetary reducer. For the planetary reducer, reducing the internal pressure can make the lifespan longer.
